An almost impossible pairing: Oud is not an easy ingredient. It is heavy, profound, sometimes overwhelming. Passionfruit, on the other hand, is bright, tangy, juicy, wild – an explosion of sensation. When these two meet, what happens is not confrontation, but a strange equilibrium: a fragrance that is both dark and luminous. Instinctive and erotic. It pulls you in, even as it pushes you away.
We chose the finest oud possible: the agarwood used in Oud Passionfruit is natural oud from Khánh Hòa – the very type sought after by international perfumers. It carries depth, sweetness, and a smoky resonance that cannot be imitated. We work directly with the oud harvesters, selecting each batch of wood, aging and extracting with rigor, to preserve oud’s true character: serene yet fierce.
Passionfruit here is not just a “fruit note.” Many mistake it for a playful, cheerful accord. Not here. We do not use it to soften oud. We let it act upon the oud. A deeply sensual interaction: sour at first, then slowly sweet, then warm like skin, leaving behind a singular aftertaste. It makes oud more “human,” more intimate – yet never stripping away its complexity.
